For years, we noticed something that many small pet owners experience every day. Walk into almost any pet store and you'll find entire aisles dedicated to medium and large dogs, endless shelves of cat products, and countless options for popular pets. But when it comes to the tiniest members of our families—the toy breed puppies, small birds, mice, hamsters, frogs, turtles, and other small companions—the choices become surprisingly limited.
Too often, small pet owners are forced to settle for products that are poorly made, improperly sized, or simply treated as an afterthought. Many tiny pets are given generic supplies that don't fit their unique needs, and their owners are left searching for products that are both functional and attractive.
We started Petsembly because we believe that isn't fair.
Behind every tiny paw, tiny claw, tiny wing, and tiny hop is a beloved family member who brings joy, companionship, and personality into someone's home. Their size may be small, but the love they give is enormous.
The inspiration for Petsembly came from seeing how often small pets were overlooked in the pet industry. We saw tiny dogs carrying oversized toys designed for pets ten times their size. We saw bird owners struggling to find engaging enrichment products that were safe and appropriately sized. We saw small animal owners searching through shelves filled with products that felt like an afterthought rather than something created with genuine care.
And perhaps the saddest part was realizing that many people unconsciously assume small pets don't need the same level of enrichment, comfort, and quality as larger animals.
But they do.
A Chihuahua experiences excitement when discovering a new toy just like a Labrador. A mouse explores and plays with curiosity just like any larger pet.
